Wednesday's round up of the top transfer stories

- Manchester City are considering a sensational January move for Luis Suarez, according to Dailymail.



- Manchester United are lining up a January move for Roma hotshot Erik Lamela after their summer bid was turned down, according to reports in Italy.



- Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to bring Thomas Ince back to the Kop – just over a year after the 20-year-old was given away, according Dailymirror.



- Santos have revealed star striker Neymar, who has been linked with Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid, nearly joined Chelsea, with club president Luis Alvaro Ribeiro telling ESPN Brasil: "When I met the lawyers and his agent, it was almost certain he would be sold to Chelsea".



But he added: "I believe he will stay even beyond 2014."
