Huntelaar signed new deal at Schalke until 2015



Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has ended speculation over his future by signing a new deal at Schalke.





The Dutch international's future has been the subject of conjecture with his existing contract due to expire at the end of this season.



A number of Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool have been credited with an interest in Huntelaar, but Schalke have managed to tie him down to a new deal until 2015.



Huntelaar was happy to pledge his future to Schalke after signing a two-year contract extension.



Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, nicknamed The Hunter, is a Dutch footballer who plays as a striker for Schalke 04 and the Dutch national football team.

Born: August 12, 1983 age 29

Hunterlar has scored 42 goals in 72 appearances for Schalke.




"I have thought long and hard about this decision and I am very grateful to my managers of FC Schalke have given this time. But now I have made the decision in which I have the best feeling," Huntelaar told the club's official website.



"I've always felt comfortable at Schalke, the club and it's fans."
